Forum Thread: PS4 console Light Blinking Red

Few days back when I switched on my ps4 and I put the game cd inside the drive when I started the game within a few second I use to get a notification saying temperature too hot and it use to beep 3 times and then shut off since it's almost 5 years for my ps4 (1st gen) I gave it fix .the fan had stopped working so I got it replaced .now when I start playing the game sometimes after 2 hours sometimes after 25 minutes I get a notification saying the temperature is rising and the console white light turns red and keeps blinking for some time and then the light turns white again .under normal condition that is when I'm not gaming and if I keep the console on for 4-5 hours it works fine .Can anyone tell me if this is normal for a ageing console or something needs to be done
